African Shaman Performing Levitation

A german film crew captures a levitation performance by an african shaman.

   Invisible fields of force or hidden wires?

   Looks pretty good but the camera men seem to have avoided filming where the supports would be if they were there – on his back. As it is they focus on full front view, front/side and feet but not his back.

   Anyone know anything about this?

   Actually, again as a magician I speculate that this can be even more primitive then wires. a simple see-saw like log could be used for this effect the shaman simply sits on the end while someone else pushes down on the resting log (maybe on a rock or so) that could be hidden by the bunches. you can even see in the first few levitation that there is an effort to balance himself. the filming guy at the back only focuses on ether his upper back or his lower legs but never the buttock region were he would be siting on the log
