Destination Truth: In search of the Iguanodon
A globe-trekking reality show that follows Josh Gates around the world as he explores different sites of supernatural import. The first episode is sparked by recent photos of huge bones discovered in Paupa New Guinea. Are they really the bones of a dinosaur, perhaps an iguanodon that has survived into the modern age? Josh and his companions trek to the village where the creature was sighted, make friends with the residents, and eventually strike out into the jungle to see if they can have their own encounter with one of its relations. Their night-time excursion does produce results of a sort, as the camera picks up motion shaking trees, but the terrain ultimately defeats them when it proves too swampy for them to go further with safety.
